Double G5RV 160 -80

Because i got the place in a nearby field i was thinking about putting up a decent antenne for 80 and 160 meter.
I talked to the owner and he let me do my things, only have to watch out that he could pass with the tractors.

So far, so done, now the antenna---> ROADTRIP !
With my good friend and fellow Ham ON1DGJ i made a trip to a small city nearby Rotterdam at GB Antennas and bought myself a whole lot of steelwires and twincable, nicely put togheter to a KingSize G5RV.

A friend of me had a big reach-tractor and he was so kind to put me up about 15 meters high in the trees to attach the antenne to one size of the field. I putted a big shackle chain around the three and with 2 carrabiners i attached 2 small wired pulley's in the top of the three. When decending with me inside the shuffle of the tractor i janked on the chainsaw and made rid of some potential antenna-killing branches.

One side fixed, over to the other side...
Problem 1, no possibility to entering with the tractor... Solution: climbing a 12 meter ladder and the last meters playing monkey. I attached the same chain and pulley's and with a verry tight bottom i climbed back down.
Because the one side is a fixed position that could move with the wind i had to make this side movable.
Next step was to lift the antenna in the air. After this i attached on the wirecoming from the antenna throug the pulley a 20 liter water barrel about 3 meters high and filled this barrel with water.
When ther's a strong breeze you could see the barrel moving up and down more than a meter...
Last step was to get rid of the 18 meter long twincable. I did this by putting a iron 4 meter long tube vertical with a little pulley on top mounted. Like this the lowest point of the twin is at 3.5 meter, just good for passing tractors.
With about 50 meter RG213mil the antenna is plugged into the TRX.
